Round Nose Grab

Round nose Grab (clamshell)
The mechanical round nose grab is specially designed for heavy-duty dredging.
The rotation points are equipped with heavy duty bearings. The bearings are double sealed to prevent entering dirt into the bearings.

The grabs can be manufactured in any weight and capacity you require. In a two- or four rope execution.

Smooth scales
The inner side of the scales is smooth, without any abrupt transitions.
This minimises the resistance during the digging in to the bottom and also makes it easier to unload sticky materials, like clay and mud.

Different types of knives
The grab's bottom knives can be delivered with straight knives without teeth.
For hard layers and different to penetrate materials, we recommend knives with teeth.
There are knives with removable and exchangeable teeth and knives with permanent teeth
(cut out of the bottom knives). The permanent teeth are very suitable for extreme hard layers.
